BK AND NESTLE CONVERGE TO RECYCLE USED OIL

July 13, 2009 La Mesa Ecopark—Bantay Kalikasan recently entered into another milestone partnership with Nestle Supply Chain Management-Transport Division.
A memorandum of agreement fortified the alliance between Bantay Langis Project and Nestle Supply Chain Management-Transport Division along with its 20 brand carriers/ truckers. Together with the project’s partner treater, Genetron International Marketing, and with Nestle’s commitment to help preserve the environment, various carriers and truckers committed to donate their used oil to Bantay Kalikasan thereby contributing to the proper recovery, recycling, and disposal of toxic used oil.
Bantay Kalikasan OIC Program Director and Operations Manager John Paul Balayon, Genetron International Marketing President Genovevo Sebastian and Nestle Philippines Inc. – Supply Chain Management Transport Division AVP Dennis Llovido officiated the signing of twenty (20) MOAs along with 2GO, Agrofreight Services, Ansuico Inc., APL Logistics Phil., Inc., David Trucking Corp., EHD Logistics, Fastcargo Logistics Corp., Fast Services Corp., Isabela Leaf Tobacco Co., Inland Corp., MSA Lorry Hauling Services, Milaor Trading Corp., Negros Navigation, National Marine Corporation Container Lines, Inc.. Sultan Kudarat M&T Inc., Trakwell Transport Link, Inc., Transpecial Hauling Services, Transworld Brokerage Corp., TRI-Bar Warehousing and Distribution System, Inc., and Warehouse One Systems and Services, Inc.
