Journey.

Every year sees the Foundation transforming, evolving to a better place. This year is marked by three major milestones:

- The launch of the Bayanijuan movement - which is an integration of all Foundation programmes including Bayan Microfinance - at the grassroots level - in the spirit of building the country from below.

- The Signing of the Memorandum of Agreement with DOT and DENR for Eco Tourism in four strategic areas: the Tubattaha Reef, the Verde Passage, Region 5 - the Bicol Region and El Nido. I am particularly excited about Region 5 - because the possibilities of making a difference there are tremendous.

- The Signing of the MOA with DENR - to undertake the cleaning of the Pasig River - Manila Bay and Laguna Lake.

These are three mammoth projects - and I have jupitarean confidence - that much can be accomplished. I have good government partners - and the power that comes from great dreams that benefit a multitude.

As well the Foundation has embarked on the journey of developing individual inner resources - through the portal of stillness. It is my experience and my conviction - that cultivating the capacity to be still gives us access to creativity, energy, tremendous will power and determination. It is no accident that we take this route - as we take on exciting projects that have the possibility of affecting lives on a very deep level.

I continue to love this country and its people ever more - as I explore its natural resources - and feel ever more deeply the heart, simplicity and purity of our people.

We, in the ABS CBN Foundation are truly blessed - and we are looking forward to ever greater partnership with our stakeholders - and with the rest of our Kapamilya as we continue - no holds barred - to let our country realize its and our dreams.
